President Tom Walker
Tom is an activist from Sarasota and active in several organizations including the Humanists of Florida. He is a board member of WSLR - Sarasota's progressive radio station. An expert on sumo wrestling, Tom often lectures on the subject.
Vice President - Cam Oberting
Cam is President of the Taylor Road Civic Association and has been with FCAN since our founding. She is currently fighting borrow pits near Thonotosassa. Cam was the first recipient of Hillsborough County's Moral Courage Award for her work fighting for clean water. She is also President of Keep Hillsborough Beautiful.
Secretary/Treasurer Mark Ferrulo
Mark is Executive Director of Progress Florida. He is temporarily accepting both Secretary and Treasurer positions. Mark's experience in the progressive movement spans more than two decades.

Labor AFL-CIO
The Central Labor Council representing union
members from 33 different international unions in 12 counties on
Florida's West Coast. Executive Director Cheryl Schroeder sits on the
FCAN Board and is Chair of FCAN's Governance Committee.

Service Employees
International Union The SEIU Florida Public
Services Union is the largest union of public employees in Florida.
State Council Executive Director Caitlin Fishman serves on FCAN's Board. FCAN also works with
SEIU Healthcare Florida, which represents more than 20,000 nurses,
professional employees, certified nurses aides, service and technical
employees, and other hospital and nursing home employees.

and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)
Florida Council 79 is the second largest union
in Florida with 90 locals representing approximately 110,000 employees
of the state, state universities, cities and counties, school boards and
private nonprofit hospitals. Doug Martin represents AFSME.

Association
Formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers
(AFTL), the FJA is dedicated to strengthening and upholding Florida's
civil justice system and protecting the rights of Florida's citizens and
consumers. Corey Harris of the Merlin Law Group represents the FJA.
